Rectangular ProductsAt Signature Shutters, you can customize your rectangular shutter to present a variety of styles and impressions. Looking for a coastal style; choose the 4 ½ louver single panel configuration. Wanting an Antebellum feel, choose the 1¾ louver with a 4 panel double hung configuration. Below is a listing of options available for your shutter order:Louver Sizes: 4 louver sizes (width of louver); 1 ¾, 2 ½, 3 ½ & 4 ½ Divider Rails: 4 tall Divider Rail available for 2 ½ and 4 ½ louvers3 tall Divider Rail available for 1 ¾ and 3 ½ louvers
Split Pullbars: Rather than a solid single pullbar linking all of your panels louvers together, the pullbar can be severed in-between any two louvers. This results in two independent pullbars allowing you to close one set, while leaving the other louver rack open. Quantity of Panels: The entire look of your room can be changed by choosing different quantities of panels for an identical opening. A 30 wide opening can have; 1, 2 or 3 panels. The wide, single panel design leads to a open, softer look, while the 3 panel configurations, with its extra vertical stiles and narrower louvers, lends itself to a more formal and traditional shutter look. Mounting Application: Shutter installation is divided into 2 families; the Inside Mount, and the Frame Mount. Inside Mount: The inside mount is the original shutter mounting method. The panels are attached to your window opening via wooden strips located behind the panels. The resulting look is one of a built-in feel. Frame mount: The frame mount is the most common and easiest installation method. By mounting to the surface of your window casing or sheetrock, the shutter installation is un-impacted by any squareness issues of your individual window opening.
